Psychotherapy in SuffolkSusannah Brindle

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I contact you?

You can contact me by phone or email. You may have questions you wish to ask about psychotherapy/counselling, or you may like to arrange an introductory session to find out if I am the person you wish to work with. I am happy to give you a 15 minute telephone consultation with no fee or obligation. It's important to find out if we can work together.

How long will the therapy last?

If you choose to work with me I suggest working for an initial six weeks. After this you can decide if you want to continue and work more deeply. A session lasts 50 minutes and would take place at a regular time. Therapy can be long or short term and we would regularly discuss how it is going and when it is the right time to stop.

How much does it cost?

Sessions cost £50 - £65. I have some lower cost spaces, contact me for further details.

Where do you practise?

I work from Woodbridge in Suffolk, which can be accessed from Melton, Ipswich or Felixstowe.

Are the sessions confidential?

Yes. What you say will not be repeated anywhere else apart from two instances. To support the work I have professional supervision but people are not discussed by name. If I thought that you or anyone else was at risk I would discuss with you the need to find additional help. I would only consider breaking confidentiality if for some reason this was unsuccessful and I felt it was necessary for the well-being of yourself or others.

What is your professional registration?

I am registered with UKCP and the Health and Care Professions Council
